Testing, Testing

After much gnashing of teeth - and with some help from my long-suffering husband - I have finally worked out how to do a blogpost from my i-pad!
I had to buy a special attachment to be able to upload the photos from my camera onto my i-pad, so I took my camera with me on my walk the other day to get some new snaps to upload.
I spotted this shag drying it's wings in the breeze.
So, I think I'm all set now for blogging all over the world!!

  1. Wendy - glad you will be able to blog anywhere as you travel. Your bird the Shag - never have seen one of these...looks like he is fairly large. Hope you are having a delightful day.

  3. You smartie! That picture looks great, so I guess the world just opened up for you, huh? Very cool. Since I don't have any kind of cell phone, I can safely avoid the gnashing of teeth here.

  4. i hear ya Wendy...that was me when we were in Florida, I couldn't quite figure out how to post a blog post properly with pictures and all from the ipad alone. I have now finally figured out that if I take my pictures with the ipad (apple bite on the bottom when taking the picture) they will turn up the right way up when i transfer them to my PC...before that I was getting fed up with upside down images when I transferred them!! Now you will be well and truly set for your big adventure, and you can take your blog pals along for the ride too, as you post from all over .

  9. I am sure that you will find your new found skills valuable on your forthcoming trip to the UK.
It is a great feeling when I manage to conquer something on the computer especially when others, younger than me, cannot.

  12. You being ready for world wide art blogging is the best news! So glad you got your i pad up and ready to go! Technology can be so very frustrating at times! Lately we too have been working hard on resolving so many i pad, i phone and other computer issues! Love the photo of the "shag!" Does your i pad have a zoom or telephoto? Seems you were able to get a good shot of the bird from a pretty good distance! Can't wait to see photos and hear all about your your journey! Wendy, are you planning on keeping a journal? I think writing daily in a journal is a grand idea. I may have mentioned before I have been keeping a journal from 1978! So much fun to go back and read all about my daily ups and downs from any day that comes to mind. I find that so many events and details I would have completely forgotten if it wasn't for my writings!
So bon voyage! Please keep us posted! Have fun! Make art whenever possible buddy!
Your So Happy That Your Adventure Is Starting Soon Cobber!

  13. Wonderful! What is that attachment. My doctor got a keypad setup from Logitech. I think I'd like that a lot. Beautiful photo. Have a super trip.
